What is a buyer's premium?
The buyer's premium is a fee added on top of the winning bid. It is typically 5% of the hammer price, capped at $15,000 per transaction.
Can I inspect the equipment before bidding?
Yes. You can request a third-party inspection with at least 48 hours notice. All listings also include independent condition reports from our verification team.
How does payment work?
Payment is made via wire transfer within 3 business days of winning. Funds are held in escrow until you confirm receipt of the equipment in satisfactory condition.
Can I sell my equipment on HeavyBid?

Do you arrange shipping?
Yes. Our logistics partners can arrange transportation by road, sea, or rail to virtually any country. We also assist with export documentation and customs clearance.
What happens if an item is not as described?
If an item significantly differs from its listing description, HeavyBid's escrow protection policy provides a dispute resolution process. Funds are not released until the issue is resolved.
Are there auto-bid / proxy bid options?
Yes. You can set a maximum bid and our system will automatically bid on your behalf up to that limit, so you never miss a winning opportunity due to being offline.
